I’m surprised there was no mention of the tempered glass A lot of people have had issues with it breaking easily, myself included Corsair is quick and happy to replace it for free, but it’s probably because it’s such a common issue Comment from : Ariel Elliott |

I have a 4090 crammed into mine The middle front fan needed to be a slim fan to accommodate it Now I need to add some top fans for better exhaust If there's an option I would swap out the glass panel for a mesh one This machine will heat my small apt on those cold winter mornings Comment from : lavapix |
i was a about to buy a lian li case with 2 glass pannels, but while searching a noctua fan i saw a pack of corsair 400d + noctua double cpu fan i wanted Got both for 200 and feel like the airflow difference was a wayy better idea than an esthetic case Comment from : Tiblsr |
my fans wont light up can anyone help, i pluged the SATA into the adapter into the PSU Comment from : Vpal |
whatsa also crazy is it is no1 in terms of number of reviews yet still rounding up to 5/5 stars juslike in amazon, also still best seller Comment from : Alejandro Rios |
This is a great case It’s honestly a case for life (if hardware doesn’t exceed available size) Comment from : Crazy Bros Cael |
Don't buy the 4000D Even the 5000D is too small And if you buy the 5000D, you want the 5000XbrSpend the extra cash and buy the 7000X Just for a few more inches I know it's absurd but your fingers and frustration level and cable management will appreciate it I got the 5000D, bought some panels off ebay to upgrade it to the X, and still regret I didn't blow gobs of cash for the 7000X I'm going to have to build a second case just for my NAS server You won't be putting many platter drives in this thingbrbrDon't waste your money on the Custom Cable Kits (Type 3 Type 4 get it right or it won't match your PSU), don't waste your money on a high wattage PSU, and don't waste your money on all these RGB fans In fact, if you can avoid all the RGB all together, it adds a rats nest of cables and is time consuming and wastes your timebrbrBasically, KISS brSpend the money you save by avoiding Corsair RGB lighting products and put it into a higher end motherboard or CPUbrbrIf you really, really, really want a cheap case, just recycle a midtower case from the 1990's Modern motherbaords still fit in them just fine, if you go air cooled If you got water cooling, with an AIO or otherwise, you'll ahve to spend to buy a new case Which doubles your build cost because now you not only have to buy the AIO, you have to buy a new case and more fans instead of just leaving the side panel off Comment from : choppergirl (♞) airwar |
The grey plastic looks awful Comment from : Pawcio2115 |
Amazing case! With the amazing airflow, never experienced the fans screaming for air especially on heavy editing season And with the purple rgb touch, clean minimalist look makes it look like a high end build 🔥 Comment from : BLOKout |
I should get this case; my full tower from 2014, a Cooler Master Storm Stryker, is a little over 135 kg/30 lbs when EMPTY Plus, it can't support longer graphic cards either Under $100 USD too? It's either white or black for me Comment from : cloak lobster |
Bought it in plack for my cosy stealth setup Replaced the front with a custom Walnut wood air intake the case looks like something that cost twice the price now! Comment from : Nicolai Hansen |
MSI refuses to believe I live in Australia, suggesting I live in Taiwan Comment from : Jakeispizza |

I literally just bought this case to build my first PC in it Has good airflow from looks, and fits everything Haven't built the system yet cause I'm waiting for my 13600kf, aio and 7900xtx Comment from : Kerek Tamás |
I wasted my money on the 7000X instead; simply due to the fact that the door is on hinges, watercooling is easier to remove/modify, and more fans for that RGB goodnessbrBut honestly, the 4000 is nearly the same in every aspect as the 7000 except the price lolbrI don't regret the 7000 though, absolutely beautiful case Also since I open the case very often, it's very convenient, so worth it! Comment from : Don Whisler |
MONTECH AIR 1000 WT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Comment from : Polishmankj |

Me over here as a complete pc newb getting a 4000D airflow not because it's popular, but simply because it was the case suggested by a Micro Center tech that spec'd out my upcoming first pc build Comment from : StateBlaze1989 |
Got a Fractal Design Meshify S2 with dark tempered glass side panel, its a little more expensive but great to build in It has enough space to house my nzxt x73 rgb AIO cooler, i7 8700k and gtx 1080 oc edition I'm looking to upgrade to a RTX 4080 suprim x, i7 13700k and a asus rog strix z790 gaming motherboard Comment from : 369 Mph |
I almost bought the 4000d today, the strix case i have was too small to fit my new evga 3080 best buy it's the only place here in Springfield mo that sells them, and my choices were corsair 5000D, 4000D, NZXT, and an MSI mpg velox 100r that was on sale from $179 down to $129, after I compared all of them I got the MSI, I haven't had a chance to switch over yet but outta the box I'm really happy about it, and it was $10 Cheaper than the 4000D Comment from : Michael Manning |
The draw back for me is that it does not have 4 USB 30 ports in the front Comment from : joeyos1971 |

I always buy a 3dollar case and add a rx 6500xt or rtx 2060 Comment from : Egalitarian Author |
I will keep in eye on the 4000D airflow and its descendents for my next upgrade in a decade or less Already i figure i might want to water cool and something as feature filled as that without compromise for that pricesounds like a good investment Comment from : Arthur Pendragon |
i wonder if a 2 slot gpu that was custom loop water cooled with the right block off setting the tubes to the side of the gpu would work since that could in theory place the tube entrance and exit at the top once mounted on it's side Comment from : Arthur Pendragon |
Anyone know if this case will fit a gigabyte eagle 3080ti? Comment from : Kittems |
I've had this case for a long time Only complaint is that it is so incredibly loud compared to other cases ive used Great temps but I the background noise is not so great Comment from : Yonnor |
Just got banging deal, ex display 4000D airflow case for 70€, brand new, including everything! Comment from : kazbuks |
A big attraction of those cases for me is the aesthetic; it's simple and clean I can't stand cases with weird angles and bulges and RGB lighting all over the place However, the lack of any optical drive bays bothers me; whether it's installing and playing classic games from the 00's or watching various films and TV series that I have on DVD, having an optical drive bay is a really nice thing to have, and for some reason no modern case has them So I'm still using my old Corsair 750D Airflow case from 2015 Comment from : Kill3rCat |
just bought it sheeeeeshhhthis is going to be my first build guys😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 damnnnnnnn so excited I love the caseeeeeee✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️😂😂😂 Comment from : Ryan Gosling |

Is it just me or someone might be seeing this as well? Whenever LTT videos has scrolling clip of videos on their contents, it runs like 4 fps which is so annoying to see Comment from : Jah Bless |
There really is a lot of choice now My previous two builds both used Cooler Master cases — my current system has the ridiculously huge Cosmos For the 13900K workstation that is being shipped as I type this, I was overwhelmed with case choice but I homed in on Fractal Design cases because Puget Systems use them (I live in New Zealand so I could not get one of their work stations) I am lucky in that cost is not a limiting factor for me, so I went with the Define 7 XL because I use a lot of storage Comment from : Trevor Dennis |
I bought the 5000D airflow so my company won't notice that it's a gaming PC for the instruments it looks just like a normal even a prebuilt PC Comment from : Willybirdie Willy |

Lancool 216 is the better option by far Comment from : xFoxDeath |

Why in the name of all that is holy hasn't Corsair put out a case with faster USB ports in the front? ONE TYPE C PORT? Pump out some f'n USB4 ports and a few more type C ports ffs Comment from : Tyblerone |

Almost all of LTTs videos have upside down brandings on the power supply Comment from : Dipping_Stock |
Putting 360 radiator in the case with tubing up, is not recommended and could cause problems So it mostly disqualifies the case for a 360 radiator Comment from : Flo Bow |
Honestly I think it comes down to the Corsair's aestheticsbrbrIt's a little ostentatious But bonly/b a little And that stylized mesh ensures good airflow That's a winner Many a search for cases ends right there with those requirements met Comment from : thumbwarriordx |
the perfect case Comment from : SGG SQUAD PRESENTS |
I was at best buy and needed a new case just in case my old one wouldn't fit a ATX motherboard Grabbed the 4000D airflow and was thoroughly impressed Unfortunately it doesn't fit my 4070 ti so I had to get a new case again looking into the 7000D now because dang I love that case Comment from : Finger Lakes Fishing |
just bought this case and found this video after Think i made the right purchase :) Comment from : Jonathan999 |
4000D is a great case, but as components continue to get bigger, the 5000D and 7000D become more relevant Comment from : Glorious PCMD |
This case is nice but when building with a Pro Z690-a motherboard this case does not allow for top installation of the Arctic liquid 280mm radiator with 140mm fans There was no RAM clearance at the top In fact the radiator fan combo didn’t fit anywhere! Comment from : Fogiscoming |
