Heck no!!!!!! A 1-year-old going to an expensive private Christian school, no way I'll be home schooling for preschool before my child enters into kindergarten, they might not even know how to walk yet! At least send them to a daycare or regular preschool, a private school is not necessary for that age This mom just wants to show off to her friends that she has enough money to send her kids, her toddler to a private school It's freaking outrageous

Did I miss something, but 125k per kid is approx $1000/month per kid - that is extremely reasonable (and in lots of cities quite cheap) In almost all big cities and suburbs of America this is a very logical price for daycare/preschool Even an at home daycare would cost more in many cities Some data points are missing in this call, but if both parents are educated (which based on the student debt they seem to be), I am assuming by being a double income household, one parents income should more than makeup $25k of daycare costs The numbers are the numbers, unless there are other considerations to consider

Nothing with it for a half day of you can afford it, they can't As an educator that has both taught and been a student in both public and private schools, there major advantages to private schools, namely, well rounded kids make well rounded adults Everything isn't just about becoming a millionaire You can be a millionaire and be stunted and have no concept of the world you are in beyond money matters No desire for cultural, social or world knowledge nor wisdom A lot of that comes from home and personality but a lot comes from exposure to many different opportunities as a child which most public school kids miss out on such as immersion programming due to the schools lacking the funds And often by the time they grow up don't even know to be curious about anything outside their four walls It's not impossible to have that for your child in a public school but it's far less likely

So Im gonna just throw this out there She might be going thru postpartum With postpartum it can show up in different ways for some women Mainly its an emotional and chemical imbalance which is causing her thinking to be off The reason why I say that is because they have been following the program for awhile and made great progress now she all of a sudden is thinking highly irrational about their finances I wouldn't criticize her many people miss the little signs until its to late and postpartum can last 3yrs after birth I would recommend she talk to her ob/gyn about this and they could tell if her thinking is off
