I agree with the first one being the wrong way to strum, but with the other examples there is nothing wrong with playing them in those ways, they are only wrong ways if they are not the intended way you wanted to play them

You are amazingly good at demonstrating the bad techniques! That's pretty impressive I've been playing 28 years and I'm glad to report I do not do any of these things And people do enjoy hearing me play But since I was self-taught, I'm always aware of the possibility that I may have an old bad habit lurking somewhere

Man this lesson was really good I have been playing for 3 weeks now and the strumming had been a struggle for me This video just helped me out a ton I really hope you have more like this Just in one lesson my sound has dramatically improved

I actually learned a lot from this video I mean I know I have had a lot more experience when playing instruments so it was easy for me to transfer those skills over to guitar but using a pick was the most difficult thing for me Even when I was holding it right I didn't have good technique when strumming After watching, I'm already more comfortable playing with a pick
