IDK about this Avon for example was and still is popular in my country My mother used the model She didn't have to pay anything, they just gave you a catalog of products, you showed them to your friends etc how many orders you do by the month, you just call up AVON, tell them you're name and what products people ordered and that's it, people pay for their products and you get a cut or you can use your cut on getting cosmetics cheaper for yourself IDK how AVON works in other countries

I'd say that the structure of the MLM is more of a trapeze There are multiple people at the top and an more people at the bottom The company makes money from ALL OVER THE structure, from the top to the bottom They sell to everyone and once they've sold the product to you they've already made their profit brbrIf a company is focused on marketing to a seller rather than to the clientsit's an MLM and you should stay away from it
