When I first got the Sims I only had the game itself and Livin' Large Much later I bought the complete collection that had all the expansion packs I think one of the packs (probably Hot Date) makes it MUCH harder to make friends/get them married etc It adds a lot more options for interactions but also makes them much more particular about who they'll befriend Having others watch your Sim play guitar and have people get in the hot tub together increase the relationship points but neither technique works as well after the additional expansion packs

I tried to see if Sims would rather die by fire or drowning and it was a trainwreck I threw like 5 parties and made a little swimming pool mote with diving boards on the outer side The only sim that died was mine Also what do you mean your house looks terrible? That's how I build my houses Everyone deserves a bead door for a front door

i completed both of those goals very easily when i played, i only had like 2-3 sims in the housebrhowever i did have a house of 4 sims and it was pretty difficult keeping their needs up
