My accounting is all done through Xero with my accountant I am trying to decide if I use the budget on Xero or use the Every Dollar one I'm new to budgeting and don't want to duplicate efforts but not sure that Xero does what Every Dollar does My second question is how does this work with bills that are set up on autopay I can't put that spending in the app the second it goes through because it happens automatically and I din't check it, it just goes through any advice on these things? I’m not sure about cutting your credit cards (if it is the only way you’re building credit) A person at the bank told me a credit card holder decided to never use their credit card for some time and it brought their credit score down to 0 It’s sad that we have to be in ‘debt’ to build credit but just something to think about If anyone has insight on this, please feel free to respond and create a thread! Here's a budget tip fix things yourself and your money will go further That repair technician can be costly and utube is free Sure it might take you a lot longer, but it doesn't cost you anything but your time I just finished replacing the big spring on the garage door and it took me a week to fixworking on it for a half hour to an hour a day This was very frustrating, but I feel like a huge weight has been lifted and I learned something new The thing that really was the driver was I didn't want to deplete the $1000 emergency fundI was getting angry I'd have to pay a technician $700 to $1000 I was able to fix the problem for $92 Comment from : Brian Nielsen |

I never use my debit card If that account gets hacked thats my money that was stolen Fighting the bank to get it back is no fun and takes time to get your money back This puts you at risk for overdraft and late fees , evictions, etc… Use a credit card and payoff the balance on auto payment every month If your credit card gets hacked that’s there money You can dispute the charge and freeze or cancel the card and they’ll be happy to send you another Comment from : Confessions of a Nutritionist |
