Very interesting analysis Although I believe Zeihan always speaks of India as an exception among the supposed failure of Brics nations, since it's a huge developing (and democratic) country with healthy demographics and good geography India is definitely on the winning side regardless of the current "Cold War II"

The only thing Zeihan is wrong about is how the CCP will deal with the demographics problem He presumes that the CCP will struggle to find the resources to support all of the elderly in the inverted demographics pyramid They will not They will handle the problem the same way ALL communists handle those kinds of problems Hence, within the next decade, I expect that we will witness a degree of mass murder in China that will dwarf all those that came before in human history The particular methods that will be used to carry this out (eg mass starvation or forced labor camps or war or some combination thereof) have yet to be determined But I am convinced that it WILL happen
