I think the rating can handle much sharper recoil than the 308 I have the scout version of this scope on my S&W 460 magnum performance center and it’s held up very well

You are correct about the eye box at 7 power I just purchased and mounted it on my 10/22 High scope rings are in my future I used the scope rail that came with it and the eye box hits it If I could scoot it forward a little bit further the 7 power would be fine Thanks for the video

I put one of these on my mini 14 with some burris low mount qd rings matte black It is the perfect setup for a ranch rifle If I want to take the scope off to use the irons the burris rings are perfect for that with the qd mounts So far so good Thanks for your review to help me make my decisions!

I got a CZ 457 American which needs a scope because there is no sight I wound up getting a vortex 2x7x35 diamondback it’s made for the 22 rimfire also went ahead and ordered some the warren scope rings they have a ring that fits 3/8 or 11 mm just by flipping the piece that goes in the groved dovetail

I bought that scope for my Ruger gunsite scout 308, I have not had the chance to get it up and running because adult life tends to be annoying Initially as a scout forward mount, but that's no really my flavor anyhowMore than likely, I'll keep it traditionally mounted Good video as always brotherStill love that Ruger, such a handsome rifle ;)

I've been running a 2x7 on a 22 mag for 40 + yrs, an never saw any reason to go to a higher power scope, they just work for the smaller calibers, thx for the vid
