@SAHIL-sj1qv
Absolutely wonderful video and so true But there's another language which according to me sounds strongest Sadly not many people know about it due to reasons of being suppressed by invaders over the centuries The oldest and complete language of the world - SANSKRIT

Veni vedi vici This guy goes on about how great it sounds when pronounced in Latin but seams to have forgot 1 of the simplest rules of Latin v ( V sounds in Latin as w is pronounced in English also c is also pronounced hard as k he may also want to keep that in mind when saying the word vici

@efjay3183
It is worth mentioning that our current writing system was literally invented with latin in mind Hense the language seems to fit its own spelling like a glove, and its words have a kind of glorious simplicity and frankness to them This is simolar to how beautifully mandaring and chinese logographs fit together One single-syllabled word for each single-symbolled character Simply put, when a languages spelling was invented to suit a certain language, than its written form will be a thing of pure beauty
Comment from : @efjay3183

@luluandmeow
I'm glad I studied Latin and I've kept it up a little by reading all Catullus' poems and Winnie Ille Pu as funny as in English

For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death (2 Corinthians 7:10)brThe Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9)brAnd the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: (Acts 17:30)

@transitoryreification1267
Perhaps any message which has to do with things outside of one's mundane experience would benefit from being expressed in a language one doesn't fully understand Because anything unknown or foreign seem by rule to be exotic, it would seem that automatically the reader would start out expecting an uncharacteristic richness of meaningbrbrMaybe it's related to the phenomenon of beginning reading a book one has never read before, when, in the beginning, as one is reading, one's fantasy works up an abundance of possible plots and events, because a lack of knowledge makes for a fertile environment or background for the imagination and new impressions
Comment from : @transitoryreification1267

@tehehe4all
VENI, VIDI, VICI when said by Hillary Clinton “we came, we saw, he died” to extol the killing of Gaddafi was the worst use of Latin

V is pronounced with the “W” sound, because V represented “U” in Latin, so don’t bite the lower lip when pronouncing V in Latin as we do in English

@jordanbelfort9163
They show a very skewed view of Latin conceiving its virtue insofar as it is an economic language The grammar of Latin is so flexible, as it has declensionsbrThe greatness of Latin is not in its conciseness, but in its impact on our civilization
Comment from : @jordanbelfort9163

@ProximaCentauri88
Comments are complaining how the narrator "incorrectly" pronounced Latin The narrator used the Ecclesiastical Latin pronunciation which is used in the Catholic Church and the Vatican, the only sovereign nation where Latin is the official language
Comment from : @ProximaCentauri88

@subjectandpredicate7172
"Latin 'dies' is more significant than a mere English "day" How so? Etymologically, they're the same bloody word, anywaybrConcision? Succintness? English, "seize the day," is one syllable shorter than the Latin, "carpe diem"
Comment from : @subjectandpredicate7172

@subjectandpredicate7172
2:23, "poto" for "puto"?
