I bought a sbe3 28 gauge 26 in barrel and I love it Only thing I don’t like about it so far is the carbon fiber rib jiggles s little I’ll get a full choke for it and will be feeding mine boss Hopefully it does well on late season ducks & geese

How about the loading port? Did they open it up any because the 28's are smaller? And what about the shell stop, is it any easier to press in? Can you manually unload by pressing the shell stop?brAlso can you speak on the cast shims? Can a lefty father with a righty son set it to neutral cast?

Hey, although you probably don’t need another 12ga, if you get a chance try a Fabarm XLR5 Waterfowler It’s an absolute fantastic shotgun, and not many people in the US know about them

Let me know how patterning this gun goes Im on the hunt for a new 28 Torn between the a400, the sbe3, and the ethos cordoba Heard the sbe shoots rediculously high, the a400 is ammo sensitiven but have not heard how this gun patterns in relation to point of aim/point if impact whether it shoots 90/10, 80/20,70/30, 60/40, or the best is 50/50 for me personally If it doesnt shoot as high as the sbe3 im going to pull the trigger on one myself I understand the "shim kit" it comes with but to me thats a bandaid attempting to fix an engineering/design flaw from the get go

Nice! The only gauge I don't ownyet! I am a 16ga guy though! I'm sure Tru-lock makes chokes for this gun and gauge They have a great reputation as well! Great review!

Good review The carbon fiber rib is kind of turns me away from it I’ve heard of people’s becoming really loose and wobbling a lot Yours sounds like it’s pretty loose too I think they should have gone with a welded steel rib

Carlson has the delta waterfowl series of chokes i love them I use them in my 20 and 12 I believe they have them in 28 as well Just food for thought 🤙
